About Narnia.
This view of the Hudson Valley from Platte Clove has been created as part of the Hudson River Art trail, it’s a location that I’ve been to many times but rarely managed a photo from here that I actually like. However on my way to a hike at Windham a couple of years ago I decided to check out the sunrise view, the forecast was decent and I was hopeful for some color, unfortunately that didn’t work out but there was this!
As I drove from Palenville up 23a it was like stepping out of the wardrobe into Narnia. There had been no snow at all in the valley but half way up the Clove conditions changed, I entered a different world where 10” or more covered every surface. A little color in the sky would have been sublime, but even so this was an absolutely enchanting start to the day
