I love Seal Cove on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island in Maine, and this was just THE most perfect evening. The tide was high but the evening was so calm and the boats were perfectly lined up, there was also just enough cloud to ensure that the color would spread across the entire sky. Unbelievably I was the only person around, perhaps everyone was jostling for space up on the summit of Cadillac Mountain a few miles away!
I’ll own up to this image being subjected to a little bit of editing magic - It’s what I saw, and what I felt but the sky with the birds were one short exposure and the boats with the water another longer exposure then the two were composited together in Photoshop back on my computer.

Signature prints are made on acid free, archival matte paper with a soft, bright white base. Each Print is presented within a white border and signed in pencil on the base of the image. It is also supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the date of printing, date of shoot and image title.
Image sizes are approx. 4"x6" on 5x7 print / 6.5"x10" on 8.5x11 print / 8.5"x13" on 11x14 print / 11"x16.5" on 13x19 print.
