If you’d asked me 3 years ago when I started to explore the Catskills what I wanted to photograph an image like this would have been absolutely top of my list.
Big view, crepuscular rays, dramatic sky = absolute magic. It was taken from a ledge just below the summit of Blackhead Mountain in the Northern Catskills. As it unfolded in front of me I was just a bit giddy with excitement, over the course of 5 minutes as it developed I nearly fell off the ledge as I tried to capture the absolute best photograph I could.
I’m pretty sure that this will be a favorite photography memory for the rest of my life.

Signature prints are made on acid free, archival matte paper with a soft, bright white base. Each Print is presented within a white border and signed in pencil on the base of the image. It is also supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the date of printing, date of shoot and image title.
Image sizes are approx. 4"x6" on 5x7 print / 6.5"x10" on 8.5x11 print / 8.5"x13" on 11x14 print / 11"x16.5" on 13x19 print.
