Echo Lake is a naturally occurring mountain lake in the shadow of Overlook and Plattekill Mountain. This photograph was taken in early March just before sunrise after I’d spent the night camping at the shelter right by the lake shore. Before this trip my last few overnighters had been in Winter temperatures, so I was looking forward to a warmer, more comfortable night in a shelter without any associated freezing… boy was I wrong, even with a huge fire it was bloody cold! We did have S’mores though
This view is looking over the lake to the west, with the lower slope of Plattekill Mountain dominating the woodland. It’s a 10 second exposure to emphasize the movement of the clouds and to emphasize the reflections on the water.

Signature prints are made on acid free, archival matte paper with a soft, bright white base. Each Print is presented within a white border and signed in pencil on the base of the image. It is also supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the date of printing, date of shoot and image title.
Image sizes are approx. 4"x6" on 5x7 print / 6.5"x10" on 8.5x11 print / 8.5"x13" on 11x14 print / 11"x16.5" on 13x19 print.
