Impressions Collection

"Impressions" is a collection of coastal photos utilizing intentional blur. I like to experiment and love how the blur softens details,  enhances the mood and renders the image into tone, line and color. All the images have been taken around the hours of sunrise and sunset.

In some images I have used a slow shutter speed with a static camera to render an abstract form to breaking waves. In other images a slow shutter speed and a moving camera provides a completely abstract feel to the color of the day well as turning tide pools and waves into lines. A small number of images have also had a selective amount of blur added whilst processing in photoshop.
